We purchased Providence from Farmers Stock Exchange Labor Day Production Sale. We noticed her in the pens prior to the auction and how much attention she was getting from other potential buyers. She is a very correctly structured, pretty doe. We don't take our animals to show very much, but we took Providence to the National Shows of ABGA and International. She placed 7th in both National Shows. We felt very good about that since we do not do any special feeding or conditioning for ones going to a show. Providence is a half sister in Ann & Terry Brock's "Dreamer" that is a two-time ABGA National Grand Champion Doe. We did our only flush in 2000 and will never do another one. Providence was part of that flush and gave us some very nice kids as seen in the example pictures. She has never been sick, has not had any trouble kidding and is a very good mother. she has a good bag with two teats. Average kids per kidding: 2.3 (excluded flush) |
