  • Very nice length and depth of body.
  • Nice hindquarter with lots of meat
  • Wide in front and rear.
  • Good muscle coverage from front to rear.

  • Good wide head and horn set.
  • Good size leg bone.
  • Legs wide apart on extremes of body.
  • Color is not correct for show quality.

Conclusion:

We bought this doe at a production sale. The first thing that strikes people is that she does not have the "boer" color markings. We would come to her pen, look and pass her by. But every time we looked, we commented how nice her body looked. Her body muscle is so smooth from front to rear and she had a very nice meaty rear end. We purchased her because the crowd had her at a low price because of the color not being correct. It was too good of a price for the quality of her overall body and we are not focused on showing. She will be bred to a buck with a very good dark red cape down to his shoulders and a similar body style as her. We are very anxious to see her bred and see how the kids turn out. This is a very good example of a top quality doe for producing large muscled kids and maybe good color markings from the sire.
