MAUL Xtender MAUL Painted Warrior MAUL War Dancer

The starting foundation to all of our herd. We purchased his dam from the first Show Stopper sale and they did not think she was  bred. However, she had been bred to EGGSfile after she was flushed. This was a major break for our future success in the industry.

Painted Warrior helped spread the reputation of Xtender and himself. Xtender was the biggest Boer buck we have ever seen but Painted Warrior had better conformation. He did very well in the local and regional shows we carried him to. He was our main breeding buck until he died.
 Painted Warrior Pedigree
Growth of a Champion

War Dancer was 6 months old when his sire, Painted Warrior, died. War Dancer successfully completed the breeding that year at a very early age. War Dancer was more consistent in the quality of his kids than Xtender or Painted Warrior. Unfortunately, a few years later, he came down with an infection that caused him to become sterile.

MAUL Red Barron

MAUL Red Ryder

MAUL Rolling Thunder

While we were still breeding with Painted Warrior, Red Barron was born on our farm and became our first red breeding buck out of our own breeding. Later he was sold.

Red Ryder came out of Red Barron. We did not realize that there was another well known red buck with the same name. We were not overly happy with his growth by the time he was around 12 months old and put him up for sale. However, several red and paint does had not been bred and Red Ryder was the only buck we could use before he left the farm. We ended up getting some outstanding kids from him that are still in our breeding program.

Rolling Thunder was an outstanding buck for us and we bred him with every doe we had that was a red, paint or had a strong red gene. After successfully breeding with him, we sold him in order to breed his offspring with some different genetics. He went to California but died in a barn fire one month after arriving there.

MAUL Thunder Bolt

MAUL Big Red

MCR Reloaded Ammo

Thunder Bolt was one of the outstanding buck kids out of Rolling Thunder that I continue to wonder why we sold him. We had a very nice young doe coming into heat just before Thunder Bolt left and we used him.

Big Red was the result of a one time breeding with Thunder Bolt before he left. We used Big Red on four young does because the other breeding bucks were too big for them. Big Red gave us some outstanding kids as a parting gift. One of his sons will be added to our breeding program in the fall of 2012.

After War Dancer became sterile, we started looking for a good young buck with outstanding, proven genetics to complement the genetics we had built up over 10 years. We decided that the RRD Ruger genetics were some of the most desired in the industry. Reloaded Ammo was double bared Ruger. Our strategy was to breed with him one season and then sell him.

DCW Bo Jangle

RRD Ruger

CBW Choc-O-Lot

We decided around 2009, that Bo Jangle was a proven producer of outstanding kids and a winner in the show ring. He was the 2006 ABGA National Grand Champion Buck and sire of 2008 National Grand Champion Doe. We purchased several does sired by him and they have been some of our best producers of the type of kids we want to raise.

We were very interested in the offspring coming from Ruger. He had sold for over $40,000 and his son AK-47 also sold for over $40,000. He also produced many show winners including 2DOX Luger an ABGA National Grand Champion Buck. We purchased Reloaded Ammo to get his genetics plus we now have several does with his genetics.

After we had sold Big Red, we were looking for some different red genetics with a history of  top quality kids. We were offered Choc-O-Lot. He had a great pedigree with his sire, EGGS Tra Teflon winning the ABGA Senior Reserve Grand Champion Buck. Choc-O-Lot had  been breeding mainly traditional colored does before we purchased him and we did not know if he would throw colored kids when breeding reds, paints and does with strong red genes.  His first 10 kids had one traditional colored, one paint and all the rest red. He threw outstanding kids. As we did with Reloaded Ammo, we purchased Choc-O-Lot to breed one season and then sell him.

EGGS Tra Teflon

TH The Big Cat

Ward's The Cat in the Hat

EGGS Tra Teflon was the sire of Choc-O-Lot and we checked out his ability to produce quality kids before deciding to purchase Choc-O-Lot.

After seeing pictures of The Big Cat, we started looking for some of his genetics. He was the sire of The Cat in the Hat which was the 2010 ABGA National Grand Champion. We ended up purchasing Cattin Casanova, son of The Cat in the Hat, for our breeding program. We also purchased a daughter of The Big Cat and one of her daughters.

We purchased Cattin Casanova, a son of The Cat in the Hat, to be a major part of our breeding program in 2011. The Cat in the Hat has produced many other offspring that have done well in the show ring.
