Almond Acres Fudge

Fudge was bred by Bill and Teresa Cormack, Almond Acres, Alberta, Canada. His parents were from the J.C. Venter herd in South Africa. He was imported from Almond Acres in Canada by Mr. Lamar Brown of Hull, Georgia. Lamar bred reds for several years and the "Hardyred" herd name is known by a lot of "red" breeders. Fudge is a proven producer of reds. Fudge was purchased by Tumbling Creek Farm owned by Billy and Teresa Phelps in McKenzie, TN.

Doocey

The foundation sire of T4 Ranch in Sonora, Texas for their focus on colored boers. Doocey is the sire of T4 Scorpio, their solid red breeding buck. A solid red daughter of Doocey was the high selling animal at the 2003 Southwest Classic Production Sale.

EGGSfile

EGGSfile was bred by E.G.G.S. and is an ABGA Ennobled buck. He has the color gene and occasionally throws colored kids. He is known for his ability to throw top quality kids. He was sold for $45,000 to Stan Benz to become the foundation sire for Benz Farm. When Stan Benz died, EGGSfile was again sold for $45,000 but died within months of the sale. He is one of the most well-known bucks in the U.S.

EGGStreme

EGGSfile was bred by E.G.G.S. and is an ABGA Ennobled buck. He has the color gene and occasionally throws colored kids. From studying pedigrees of colored boers, I think EGGStreme may throw more colored kids than EGGSfile does. Because of a breeding accident, EGGSteme can no longer be used for breeding and there are no straws available from him.

Hershey's Chocolate

Hershey's Chocolate was the sire of the world's first black fullblood boer goats. He is owned by Troy Powell of Little League Ranch in Benjamin, Texas. Hershey's Chocolate is the source of many of the black and black paint boer goats in the U.S.

Mago

Mago was the foundation sire of Allen's Boer Goats. The Allens were known by breeders across the U.S. for the winning quality of their percentage does and show wethers. Mago is the sire of GLA N100 (Nitro) which has an outstanding show record. When the Allens retired, Mago was was the top selling buck at the Allen's Dispersal Sale. He was purchased by a partnership of Ronnie & Linda Peacock of Double Eagle Ranch in Cleburne, Texas and David and Elaine Casstevens, Double Oak Farm,  in Cleburne, Texas

Nitro

Nitro is the foundation sire for Lauri Sheridan of Never Idle Ranch in Weatherford, Texas. Nitro has a excellent record of winning at shows. His sire is Mago. Nitro was bred by Allen Boer Goats and Lauri purchased him when the Allens retired.

Renoir

Renoir is the ABGA 2000 National Grand Champion buck and an ABGA Ennobled Buck owned by Ann and Terry Brock of Brock Boer Goats in Bertram, Texas. Although Renoir is not a typical "colored boer goat", he carries the color gene and throws lots of reds and paints. Renoir was Ennobled through the winning points of his kids even though Renoir had sufficient winning points of his own show record. However, ABGA would not accept his points for Ennoblement because he had too much color on his left front leg. ABGA did use Renoir's picture for one of their ABGA brochures and they colored the leg white in the picture for the brochure.

Valentino

Valentino is the foundation red breeding buck for the Schilling Ranch. He was born on the Schilling Ranch. Red Boer goats have become a special trademark for the Schilling Ranch.  Schilling Ranch is located in South Texas near the small town of George West, Texas.

Who Dat?

Who Dat? was bred by Kallie Jo Kohls-York of Kallie-Harie Reds in San Angelo, Texas. He was one of the foundation bucks for their focus on colored boer goats. Kallie-Harie Reds was one of the earliest breeders in the U.S. that started focusing on the colored boer goats. Many of the current colored boers in the U.S. can be traced back to him. Who Dat? was sold to the Beisecker family in Indiana.
